Data Analyst, Grade 8 (Ministry of Agriculture) 2026

The Public Service Commission invites applications from suitably qualified Gambians for a Data Analyst, Grade 8 position at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Security under the Department of Planning. The role supervises and coordinates agriculture and natural-resource data collation, analyses survey data, supports training in data processing and management techniques, organises staff training in software tools, manages effective data backups, and provides technical advice on computer software. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SPSS, STATA, R, Python or SAS is required, with experience in Kobo Toolbox, ODK or Survey Solutions an advantage.
